How Chat Works
The Chat workspace is your primary interface for interacting with ASAPilot's AI. Ask questions in natural language and receive structured, actionable insights about your Apple Search Ads account.
Chat modes
Each chat session operates in a specific mode, which determines which AI agent handles your questions:
Account Health
Runs comprehensive account audits. Returns health scores, risk alerts, top issues, best/worst performers, and prioritized action lists.
Try: "Audit my account", "How is my account doing?", "Show me account health"
Budget Guard
Detects budget risks at the App level. Identifies leaking apps, burning campaigns, wasted spend on zero-conversion keywords, and CPI anomalies.
Try: "Where is my budget leaking?", "Show budget risks", "Which campaigns are burning money?"
AI Insights
General-purpose analysis across all dimensions. Covers spend reports, CPA trends, keyword performance, campaign analysis, and custom queries.
Try: "Show last 7 days performance", "Why did CPI rise yesterday?", "Compare this week vs last week"
How responses work
When you send a message, ASAPilot's AI agent:
- Analyzes your question and determines which data to fetch
- Pulls real-time data from your Apple Search Ads account via the API
- Computes derived metrics (CPA, CTR, CVR, waste ratios)
- Generates a structured response with text, data cards, and suggested actions
Responses stream in real-time so you can see results as they're generated.
Response types
Each response may include:
- • Text explanation — Plain language analysis and findings
- • Result cards — Structured summaries like health scores, budget risk panels, and metric snapshots
- • Suggested actions — Clickable next steps like "Create automation", "Switch to Budget Guard mode", or "View last 30 days"
Conversation context
Each chat thread maintains context across messages. You can ask follow-up questions without repeating your account details or time range. When you start a new chat, a fresh context is created.
Scoping your analysis
Use the controls at the top of the chat workspace to narrow your analysis:
- • Account — Select which connected ASA account to analyze
- • Time range — Choose from today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, or a custom range
