Connect Apple Search Ads
ASAPilot connects to your Apple Search Ads account through the official ASA API. This guide walks you through the 3-step connection process.
Prerequisites
- • An active Apple Search Ads account with API access enabled
- • API credentials (Client ID, Client Secret, Key ID, Team ID)
- • Admin or Account Manager role in your ASA organization
Step 1 — Enter API credentials
After logging into ASAPilot, navigate to Accounts and click Connect Account. You'll need to provide your Apple Search Ads API credentials:
- Client ID — Your OAuth client identifier
- Client Secret — Your private key file (.pem) or paste the key content directly
- Key ID — The key identifier from your Apple developer account
- Team ID — Your Apple developer team identifier
Security: Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely. ASAPilot never stores plaintext private keys. We use application-level encryption for all sensitive data.
Step 2 — Select organizations
After validating your credentials, ASAPilot will discover all organizations (orgs) accessible with your API key. Select which organizations you want ASAPilot to monitor.
Step 3 — Choose apps
For each selected organization, ASAPilot will list all apps with active Apple Search Ads campaigns. Choose which apps to include in your monitoring scope.
The number of apps you can manage depends on your plan:
- • Starter — up to 3 apps
- • Growth — up to 20 apps
- • Agency — up to 100 apps
After connecting
Once connected, ASAPilot will sync your account metadata (organizations, apps, campaigns). You can then:
- • Open Chat to ask AI about your account
- • Create Automations for daily monitoring
- • View your account summary on the Home page
Troubleshooting
If your connection shows an error status:
- • Expired — Your API token has expired. Use the Reconnect button to re-authenticate.
- • Error — Check that your credentials are correct and that API access is enabled in your Apple developer account.
- • Syncing — Metadata sync is in progress. This usually takes under a minute.
